How will my education be impacted?

Classes will continue with even more options coming soon! Live (in person) classroom education has resumed for Pre License and Continuing Education students. Brokers needing CE will automatically get a 90 day extension until September 30th 2020, as long as you renewed the license by June 30th (paid $45).

How do I access my classes via Zoom?

Once you find a class that meets  your needs, sign up and pay at www.southernchoice.com. You will be sent a link to your class the day before. You then can access the live stream of your class via the Zoom app, which can be downloaded to your desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile device at https://zoom.us/support/download. You do not need a Zoom account to use it for class. You do, however, need to use a device with a camera on it, per the Commission's recommendations.

What device is required to access the course online?

Any computer, laptop, tablet or mobile device that has a camera and will allow you to access the online live stream of your class via the Zoom app. The NC Real Estate Commission has asked that each student use a device with a camera.

What if I need additional help accessing my classes online?

Students will report support tickets to Zoom :

  1. Online submission via submit a request.
  2. Chat live with our support team by visiting your account and selecting help in the lower right-hand corner here.

  3. Phone dial-in US: 1.888.799.9666 ext 2

  4. Test your system at https://www.zoom.us/test
