Southern Choice Real Estate Academy began offering real estate classes in 1996. It has provided real estate education to more than 35,000 students in thirteen counties of southeastern North Carolina.

The academy provides live and online continuing education opportunities, as well as Pre- and Post-licensing classes. Southern Choice is approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.

Utilizing the best teaching and learning techniques available in the market place, Southern Choice provides continuing education to "more than 3000" students each year.

The academy in owned by Southern Choice Realty, Inc. of Wilmington, North Carolina. Bob Klingensmith is an instructor and is also the school's director. A number of other instructors teach for the academy as well.

Bob Klingensmith is a broker associate at Network Real Estate in Wilmington, NC.  A professional educator for more than thirty years, he enjoys real estate and the opportunity to meet with real estate professionals in the classroom setting.
Bob enjoys teaching continuing education to real estate licensees and has experience as a pre-license instructor. He holds a Masters Degree in Education from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Education Degree from The Ohio State University.

The friendly, helpful voice on the telephone is Kerrie Landers, the school's Administrative Assistant. She has been with the academy for six years.
